SEACAMP II sessions are open to students entering 8th through 12th grades in Fall 2019 with previous SEACAMP experience. Sessions are limited to 28 students per session. Enrollment is accepted on a first come, first served basis and is open until the session date, providing space is available. A partially refundable $300.00 deposit is required to secure student’s spot in session. Final Payment and all required forms are due by May 15th.
To enroll, select session date, dorm type, either deposit payment or full tuition payment and complete information about your student. Add the selection to cart and then proceed to checkout to complete enrollment process. Final Payment alone will NOT secure enrollment for student. Enrollment must be secured with either Deposit Payment or Full Tuition Payment. Final payment and required paperwork for the selected session are due on or before May 15th.
Students 9th grade or older have the option to attend SEACAMP II & III consecutively. Consecutive sessions give students the option to stay with us for two weeks! Sessions indicated with (*) may be done with the next level. SEACAMP provides students a unique unplugged experience. There are NO electronics allowed at camp including personal cell phone use. Cancellation Policy – Per Session: Deposit and tuition may be partially refundable. Cancellations prior to January 31st are subject to a $100.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations between February 1st & March 31st are subject to a $200.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations between April 1st and May 15th are subject to a $300.00 cancellation fee. Deposits and tuition are non-refundable after May 15th. Travel fees, unaccompanied minor fees and SCUBA rental fees are refundable up to 30 days prior to session date. Cancellations must be submitted in writing and received by the dates stated above. Cancellation Policy applies to each session. Participants are able to switch between session dates providing space is available. Requests must be received by May 15th and will require new paperwork – fees may apply for changes after May 15th.
Changes to travel after May 15th must be approved by SEACAMP San Diego but may not be possible.
Tuition includes housing, meals, admission to all attractions, gear, equipment, 24-hour supervision and transportation while in San Diego. SEACAMP San Diego provides airport pick-up and drop-off as long as flights arrive and depart inside given window of time and student is not classified by the airline as an Unaccompanied Minor. For SEACAMP II & III students participating in our optional SCUBA Program, there is a $100.00 gear rental fee (if needed).
The SEACAMP SCUBA Program is offered during SEACAMP II & III sessions and is not required to participate. SCUBA Program is optional and provided in addition to snorkeling. Students must be 14 years or older and a certified SCUBA diver by the start of their session to participate. SEACAMP San Diego does not provide SCUBA training; therefore, students with no formal training prior to the SEACAMP session will not be allowed to SCUBA dive. There are no exceptions to the SCUBA requirement – students must be 14 years or older and a certified SCUBA diver by the start of their session to participate in SCUBA.
